In partnership with the Government of Western Australia, Newfound ran a Market Mission programme offering market entry advice and support for 10 high-growth Western Australian (WA) tech businesses looking to expand into the UK.
Entrepreneurial and innovative WA businesses benefited from the virtual trade mission by engaging with experts, investors and fellow tech founders on the UK tech ecosystem and market opportunities.
The WA mission coincided with London Tech Week - the largest technology festival in Europe.
The mission format enabled companies to connect with peers from across Western Australia, at the same time as gaining insight from world-class entrepreneurs and investors through interactive workshops.
We were joined on the WA mission by great speakers from Oury Clark, Be More Development and Fundraising Bootcamp, as well as sharing our own in-house expertise. Elizabeth Ames moderated.
The programme concluded with a Pitch Day hosted by leading corporate innovation specialist CO:CUBED - giving companies on the programme the opportunity to launch their companies into the heart of the UK tech ecosystem.
