Forsite offers a health and safety mobile app that makes it easy for property owners and managers to track the real-time visibility of contractors on their sites. Developed with leading national contracting firms and property owners, the app pairs with sensor technology that automatically detects authorised contractors arriving on site, allows check in and provides up-to-date hazard data about the site and job they’re doing.

Forsite’s business mission is to move building managers away from tracking contractors on site with pen/paper or Excel to a cloud-based software that provides data to enhance and improve health and safety operations.

The company was co-founded by Simon Yock and Scott McKenzie in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2016.


Chief executive Yock had identified the UK as the next market after New Zealand and engaged Newfound to build the beachhead and conduct the search for its first person on the ground to build UK sales presence and traction.

Simon was referred to Newfound via New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. We helped him by conducting a UK-wide search for sales leaders with deep knowledge of software sales to the property sector, who could lead the market entry, build pipeline and close deals.

Newfound delivered this by producing a shortlist of expert sales people within four weeks. Guy Adderley, the eventual new country manager, was on the shortlist and Newfound managed the offer process to close the hire successfully.

Simon was delighted with Newfound’s ability to deliver and Guy remains in contact with Newfound.
