Timely is a business management platform for health and beauty businesses. Its cloud-based products allow business to manage their appointments but also marketing activities, inventory, business administration and employees across multiple locations.
Founded in New Zealand, Timely has grown rapidly and now serves 12,000 customers in over 90 countries. Timely had developed a modest UK presence from New Zealand with a token team on the ground in the UK.
LOCAL LEADER ON THE GROUND
Timely management had determined that the UK market represented the best next opportunity to add to their growth. They realised that if they were serious about their ambitions, they would need to build a local team on the ground in order to grow its small footprint and scale successfully.
With this plan in mind, Timely engaged Newfound to search for its UK Country Leader in April’19. We conducted a search for a hands-on commercial leader in a SaaS company with strong B2B2C sales experience working with SMBs and enterprises. Within 6 weeks, Newfound had successfully placed Lynelle Hills into Timely to take their UK traction and to develop it into Timely’s next growth market.
