Credi is an Australian consumer financial technology platform changing how people lend to each other, providing a platform for them to create, negotiate and accept loan agreements with people they trust.
Chief executive Tim Dean engaged the Newfound team to deliver a bespoke scoping mission to London to help him reach a decision on whether or not to expand to the UK.
Leveraging its trusted network, Newfound built a customised five-day programme of 20 meetings, including with potential customers, partners, investors, professional service providers, regulators and consumer technology experts.
Newfound enabled us to quickly build relationships with the right people to make our UK market entry a success.
Tim was able to establish first hand that there was significant market potential for Credi in the UK. Newfound introduced Tim to high net-worth individuals interested in investing to help Credi’s expansion overseas.
As a result of the mission, Tim decided to establish Credi as a UK entity, hire a local team, move its HQ to London and raise funding.
